The WBO’s live coverage of the second round of the Brazilian election

The Washington Brazil Office (WBO) will accompany the counting of votes in the second round of the Brazilian election. The coverage will be live, via Twitter Spaces, on Sunday, October 30th, from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm EDT.

The Brazilian election coverage will be hosted by James Naylor Green, professor of Brazilian History and Culture at Brown University and President of the WBO’s Board of Directors; by Gladys Mitchell-Walthour of the Department of African Diaspora Studies at North Carolina Central University. She is also a member of the WBO’s Board of Directors; and by André Pagliarini, Professor of History at Hampden-Sydney College and a non-residential WBO fellow.

Over the four hours of election coverage, the three hosts will interview twelve expert analysts including professors, journalists and political commentators. The entirety of the broadcast will be in English. To follow along, simply access the WBO’s Twitter profile (@Brazil_Office) and click on the pinned link at the top of the timeline. This will take you to the scheduled Twitter Spaces event.
