WBO launches 2023 edition of its “Policy Paper”, with detailed x-ray of Brazilian reality

The WBO (Washington Brazil Office) launched the 2023 edition of its "Policy Paper" on Thursday, December 14th. This annual document offers a comprehensive analysis of Brazil's situation across various domains, including democracy, human rights, sustainable development, racial equality, gender, sexual diversity, and socioeconomic development.

Produced by research fellows affiliated with the organization, who are academics from some of the most prestigious universities in Brazil and the USA, the WBO's "Policy Paper" targets researchers, parliamentarians, activists, journalists, decision-makers in both the public and private sectors, as well as financiers and international organizations in Brazil and the USA.

The publication, approximately 50 pages in length, is available online through this link. It provides a thorough and precise examination of the primary contemporary challenges faced by Brazil, elucidating and contextualizing the unique aspects of the national context for foreign audiences.

The WBO is an independent and non-partisan think tank that specializes in promoting cooperation and knowledge about the Brazilian reality and offering support to the international work of civil society, social movements and other sectors in Brazil in Washington, in defense of democracy, human rights, the environment and freedoms.
