The WBO will accompany the counting of votes in the first round of the Brazilian elections. The broadcast will be live, via Twitter Spaces, on Sunday, October 2nd, from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm EDT. The broadcast will be hosted by James Naylor Green, professor of Brazilian history at Brown University and Chairman of the WBO’s Board of Directors; by Gladys Mitchell-Walthour of the Department of African Diaspora Studies at North Carolina Central University; and by André Pagliarini, Professor of History at Hampden-Sydney College. Over the four hours of broadcast, more than 15 experts, professors, analysts, and journalists will participate. They will comment on the Brazilian election as it develops. The entirety of the broadcast will be in English.
