Racial Equality and Overcoming Racism

The reversal of the negative representation of the Black person in Brazil, and the appreciation of Black history, resistance, and culture in their existing forms is a great historical and social obligation. This program is aimed at supporting and consolidating the role of state and social actors in Brazil in promoting racial equality, which involves:

1
Articulating the realization of rights and access to public policies for peoples and traditional communities of African origin.

2
Promoting actions to incorporate the perspective of advancing racial equality in government policies and private organizations, with an emphasis on Black youth and women.

3
Encourage policies to fight racism and developing mechanisms to support civil society that seek to reduce violent deaths among Black women and youth.
