The Alliance Brazil Office (ABO) today announced 15 new research fellows who will work with the organization in three distinct research areas throughout 2026.
See here for the names and profiles of each.
The selected researchers are experts in the areas of democracy and human rights; international relations and foreign policy; environmental justice, climate policy and socio-environmental issues; and public policy and international advocacy.
“We are delighted to welcome this new cohort of research fellows. Their knowledge, commitment, and diverse perspectives will make an important contribution to our work and to the broader conversations on Brazil’s role in today’s global challenges”, said Iman Musa Jadallah, Public Relations specialist responsible for coordinating the work with the group.
Throughout 2026, the group will collaborate with the WBO in producing analyses, public policy documents, reports, articles, and public events related to the three priority areas; participate in periodic meetings with the WBO team and other fellows; and contribute to international debates on democracy, human rights, and environmental protection in Brazil, focusing on the country's relations with the United States and Europe and the defense of the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes.
