LGBTQIA+ civil society organizations carried out a mission in Brasília on April 1st and 2nd, with the participation of Victor De Wolf (Rio de Janeiro), Maicon Chaves (Minas Gerais), Cleber Ferreira Silva (Paraíba) and Gleyson Silva de Oliveira (Pará) of the Brazilian Association of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transvestites, Transsexuals and Intersex People (ABGLT), an organization that is affiliated to the Brazil Office Alliance. The initiative combined moments of planning and internal coordination with institutional meetings, focusing on strengthening international advocacy.

Organizations Denounce Devastation Bill in the Inter-American Human Rights System
The Institute for Society, Population and Nature (ISPN), in partnership with the Washington Brazil Office (WBO), the Climate Observatory and Conectas Human Rights issued an alert this Friday, November 14 to the Special Rapporteurship on Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights (Redesca) of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) about what they classify as a “serious risk of institutional dismantling of the National Environmental System (Sisnama)” in Brazil.
